What are the pre-requisites for receiving a BlackBerry?
• School must be EPO (E-Policy Orchestrator) compliant (virus-free).

• User's computer must have full Microsoft Outlook mail client on the network. Help
• User's computer must have USB port.
• User's computer must have Microsoft Windows XP, 2000 or ME.
• User's computer must have Microsoft Office 2003, XP or 2000.
• BlackBerry handhelds are not yet supported by Mac OS.
The handhelds are funded through the school's or work location's budget which will pay for the initial cost of the unit, license, year of BlackBerry service and monthly phone charges.
What are the differences among the two models?
• The AT&T 7290 model has a color display and typical cellular phone with less expensive monthly charges (recommended).
• The Nextel 7520 model has a color display, speaker phone, new icons, more ergonomically-designed keyboard, and radio feature for users accustomed to Nextel phones.
